Nika partners with LI.FI to unlock seamless cross-chain swaps

We’re thrilled to announce a strategic partnership between Nika and LI.FI, ushering in a new era of frictionless, secure cross-chain asset mobility for our users.

Why this matters

In a multi-chain world, bridging assets across different blockchains remains one of the biggest UX challenges. Users often wrestle with fragmented bridges, multiple steps, slow confirmations, and liquidity fragmentation. At Nika, we believe your focus should be on growth, not on manually bridging assets.

That’s why we chose LI.FI — a leading cross-chain aggregation protocol — to power our infrastructure for swaps and bridging. With LI.FI under the hood, Nika users gain:

  • True any-to-any swaps — assets can move directly from one chain to another, with optimal route selection across bridges + DEXes.

  • Aggregated liquidity — routing through the best bridges and DEX aggregators to minimize slippage and fees.

  • Simplified integration and operations — we rely on LI.FI’s APIs, SDK, and widget stack so you don’t have to manually manage all your integrations.

  • Support for EVM and non-EVM (SVM / Solana / other) chains — expanding Nika’s reach across more ecosystems

  • Robust architecture — LI.FI uses a diamond (multi-facet) contract structure (EIP-2535) so logic can evolve modularly.

Together, this means Nika users will be able to move assets across multiple chains securely, quickly, and without needing to worry about the “bridge work.”

EVM & SVM / multi-VM capabilities

One of the most exciting aspects of this integration is support for both EVM (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, etc.) and SVM / “Solana-style VM” environments. LI.FI recently launched or expanded cross-chain routing between EVM and Solana (and similar VMs) via its integrations with bridges like Allbridge and DEX aggregators that operate across those models.

In other words, if Nika users want to move from an EVM chain into a Solana-based protocol (or vice versa), our integration with LI.FI makes that movement much more seamless and reliable. We’ll be working closely with LI.FI to support additional VMs and bridges over time.

What this unlocks for Nika & our community

1. Better UX, lower friction

  • No more multi-step bridging + swapping. Users can move assets in one integrated flow — less clutter, fewer errors, faster onboarding.

2. Broader chain access

  • We can expand our chains roadmap faster, tapping into diverse ecosystems without spending months building custom bridge integrations.

3. More liquidity, better pricing

  • By routing across multiple bridges and DEXes, the integration helps reduce slippage and gas inefficiencies, improving execution quality.

4. Future-proof flexibility

  • As new chains or bridging innovations emerge, Nika can plug them into the LI.FI aggregation stack rather than rewriting core logic.

5. Security & resilience

  • LI.FI’s architecture brings modularity and updateability, and its aggregation model offers fallback paths if a given bridge or route fails.

Risk & mitigation

We recognize that cross-chain systems carry risk (bridge exploits, smart contract bugs, routing attacks). For example, LI.FI has experienced security incidents in the past. But we are approaching this integration with a rigorous security posture:

  • Multi-layer audits and review of LI.FI’s contract logic
  • Monitoring, fallback route planning, and pause mechanisms
  • Gradual rollout and feature gating based on chain risk
  • Comprehensive insurance / reserve strategies as part of our risk architecture

Roadmap & next steps

  • Phase 1 (Q4 2025): Internal integration, testnet rollouts, UX polish, and public beta for users on selected chains
  • Phase 2 (Q1 2026): Full rollout across all supported chains, adding more VMs and bridges
  • Ongoing: performance monitoring, adding new chain routes, optimizing gas & slippage, and community feedback loops

A message from the teams

“We’re excited to power Nika’s cross-chain dreams. LI.FI’s mission is to connect users with their favourite apps and tokens on any chain, and pairing with Nika accelerates that vision.” — LI.FI

“This partnership is a key step in Nika’s journey to be chain-neutral infrastructure. Now users can focus on strategy — not bridging.” — Nika
